Located in Nampodong, Jagalchi should be on the list of everyone’s itineraries when exploring through Busan.
Personally I like this Fish Market more than Tsukiji in Tokyo.
Fish at the Market.
Some fresh Squid.
Lots of stalls as you would expect.
Obviously quite a few boats around being a port city.
Some stingrays on sale.
More Squid!
Octopus.
Whale Meat (didn’t get a chance to eat this).
Looks like blowfish.. however don’t quote me on that…
There is also an inside area which has lots of stalls selling all kinds of seafood.
Myself at the entrance of Jagalchi.
Hi,
Really find your blog very useful especially since I’m building my Busan itineraries.
Can I ask if we intended to go to Jagalchi Market from Taejongdae, what directions can you suggest? If we take a bus from Taejongdae then alight to Nampo Station then ride the subway to Jagalchi station? Or is there a bus stop in Jagalchi Station?
Thanks a lot 🙂
Hi Maria,
I would suggest just walking from Nampo Station to Jagalchi Station as it is only a 10 minute walk. (Map: http://dmaps.kr/47mpm)
